ARTCRUSH STUDIO 2014-2018

ArtCrush Studio was conceptualized in 2014 in Los Angeles Ca.

I was a career hairdresser and seasoned photographer and feeling incredibly burnt out.

On a whim, I decided to open a private studio space in the small LA community (where I lived at the time) of Altadena CA.
It was quite a leap of faith because it wasn’t like I had the money and resources to pursue such an endeavor, but it came at a peak moment in my life when I was filled with many ideas and this unescapable desire to focus on my art, creativity, and to explore new professional pursuits.

Enter ArtCrush Studio.

During my time with ArtCrush, I curated several shows and events, hosted local artists, participated in community events and taught creative classes and workshops.

I met many amazing people and in what felt like a dream come true, was allowed to step into the role as a professional working artist.

Such a pivotal time.

When the winds of life change brought me to a space of transition in 2018, I decided I would pack up ArtCrush and set my sights on the future.

And while saying goodbye to my studio was a tough one, I can say that it led me to exactly where I am today and for that I am eternally grateful.

ArtCrush Studio was a bridge. A liminal space to jump into a whole new life.

Nothing but love for my time, memories, and experiences there.
